PRACTICE 4 TeamVodafone’s Jamie Whincup has posted the fastest time after today’s practice for the Clipsal 500. His time of 1.21.8052 came late in the last 30-minute session. He was one of only three drivers to break into the sub 1 minute 22 second barrier, along with Mark Winterbottom (2nd) and Craig Lowndes (3rd).

Bottle-O Racing’s Paul Dumbrell set the provisional fastest time in the first V8 Supercar practice session for the Clipsal 500, but had his fastest lap time taken away for a kerb hopping infringement. He posted a time of 1.22.4417 in the dying stages of the 30-minute session to pip Lee Holdsworth by .05 second.
