V8 Supercars – Defending Bathurst Champions to visit Sydney ahead of Bathurst 1000

Defending Bathurst legends, TeamVodafone’s Craig Lowndes and Mark Skaife will stop by Sydney’s harbourside Pyrmont Point Park on Tuesday ahead of V8 Supercars’ annual mission to the mountain.

The legendary duo proved they are in top form with a win at the opening endurance race at Phillip Island, and will be available to discuss tactics to make it two Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 wins in a row.

Teammates and their closest competition, young guns Jamie Whincup and Andrew Thompson will also be on hand to tell of how they hope to halt the charge of the Lowndes/Skaife combo.

All four drivers will then highlight the efforts of and present a brand new ute to Foodbank, Australia’s largest hunger relief organisation, on behalf of team sponsor Komatsu.

Where: Pirrama Park, Pirrama Rd – Pyrmont (also known as Pyrmont Point Park).

When: 11.00am TeamVodafone Press Call followed by Komatsu’s hand over of the Ute to Foodbank
